Preventative Medical Care
We offer exams and counseling individualized for your pet and their stage in life to help you make the best decisions for your pet’s health and happiness.
Puppy and kitten visits:
Include examinations, behavioral counseling, vaccinations, and parasite screenings to help your pet get off to a great start! We will also discuss microchipping, spaying/neutering, dental care, house training, and other basic obedience.
Adult wellness exams:
Annual examinations geared toward preventing illness and identifying any undetected problems. In addition to a comprehensive exam these may include vaccinations, blood screening, dietary counseling, dental home care recommendations, heartworm and flea preventatives.
Comprehensive Dental Care
Routine dental care has become an integral part of the prevention of periodontal disease and tooth loss in our pets. Dogs and cats both suffer from plaque and tartar build up which leads to gingivitis and periodontal disease. The periodontal disease is what causes tooth loss. We can prevent these from occurring in your pet with regular oral exams and cleanings as well as ongoing home care.
We offer complete dental care including ultrasonic scaling, polishing, sealing, and dental x-rays. Radiographs of the teeth allow us to identify fractures of teeth, abscessed roots, and periodontal disease that can cause your pet pain. We often find lesions during a routine dental exam and cleaning that we were unaware of before we had radiographs of the teeth. We can offer better treatment options for your pet with this capability. We also offer many home care products that help keep your pet’s teeth clean and breath smelling fresh. Products include toothbrushes, pet friendly toothpastes, antibacterial rinses, gels, and dental chews for cats and dogs.

Cat Boarding
Our unique ‘kitty condos’ are located on the second floor where our guests can monitor the activity below or sleep the day away on their comfy perches. These are located completely separate from the dog boarding and are very quiet and comfortable. We’re certain that even the most pampered pets will feel like royalty!
Dog Boarding
We give our overnight guests a great deal of individual attention which helps them get to know us better and makes their stay less stressful. The kennel is bright and spacious with plenty of natural light entering through several windows and skylights. Each dog is given a large indoor run according to their size with soft bedding which is cleaned daily. They are allowed to exercise off leash in our half-acre fenced yard. Larger and more ‘homey’ suites with windows and glass doors are available separate from the kennel.

Digital Radiography
We offer high quality digital radiography in our clinic which provides fast and detailed xray images of your pet. These also provide the additional benefit of being easily transferred to specialists and emergency clinics if needed.
Complete Medical Workups
We offer comprehensive exams and consultations on medical problems encompassing internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology, and oncology. We can also set up referrals for specialists in these areas as necessary. Full body radiographic equipment with automatic processing gives us the ability to provide results while you wait.
For our critically ill or emergency patients we can also perform a range of blood testing services in our hospital. An in-house laboratory provides instant results while the client is waiting! This allows us to address critical patients immediately without having to send tests to an outside lab. Some of these tests include:
- Organ function test – blood chemistry
- Complete blood count – red and white cell counts
- Urinalysis
- Heartworm testing
- Internal parasite testing
- Ear cytology (checking for ear infections)

Veterinary Surgical Procedures
We routinely perform ovariohysterectomies (spays), castrations (neuters), declawing for cats, abdominal surgeries including foreign body removal, tumor removals, cystotomies (bladder stone removal) and general soft tissue surgery. We use the safest and newest anesthetics available including sevoflurane gas anesthesia.
We are dedicated to making surgery for your pet as painless as possible and will individualize a treatment plan based on your pet’s needs.
Our patients are constantly monitored by skilled veterinary nurses and are on EKG, heart and respiratory monitors while under anesthesia.
Pet Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy is proven to bio-stimulate tissue repair and growth. The Laser accelerates wound healing, and decreases inflammation, pain, as well as scar tissue formation. When it comes to pain management, Class IV Lasers are a side effect free and non-addictive treatment that provide dramatic results.

Ultrasound
We offer ultrasound services in clinic which provides another choice of diagnostics when your pet is in need. This type of imaging provides more detailed images of internal organs by using safe and painless sound waves to help diagnose causes of pain, swelling or infection in internal organs.
